Middle School Lady Warriors defeated O. H. Perry

These were exciting games.  Everyone got a chance to play. Many learned something new about themselves and their opponents.  It was WMY 25-6 and 25-13. Thank you parents for coming out to support your child or grandchild.  Both teams had fun.  What a way to learn!

This news just in, Our Lady Warriors lost all matches yesterday against John Hay at Rockefeller Park. Our players were Johnelle Diamond, Terranova Ake, Caila Blakeley, Jala Cheeks, Davonna Stubbs and D’asia Taylor.  Thank you for trying Ladies.  You will get better with time.

Varsity Lakers of Max Hayes Defeat Our Lady Warriors

Our Varsity Volleyball Team lost Monday by scores of 16-25, 21-25 and 20-25.

Our Junior Varsity Volleyball Team Defeated The Lakers

This was a very exciting event.  Our young ladies really worked hard to bring home a victory.  We won 25-16, 14-25, 25-16.  Yes, our girls did not let these games get away.  Congratulations!

Tennis Match against Lincoln West

A match between Lincoln West and Whitney M. Young was originally scheduled but we were told that the Wolverines did not have a team.  We are sorry for those of you who came over to Jefferson Park to see these young ladies play only to discover that there was no match.

WMY loses to the Railroaders.

I am sure that you have heard the expression one step forward, two steps back.  That is in fact the perfect  characterization of our 38 to 0 loss to a quick Collinwood team and a quite lethargic Warriors team.  Kudos to Braxton Putnam, Davon Dumetz and Mozelle Johnson.
