Middle School Warriors vs Charles Eliot

Our Middle School Boys Warriors Team of five players once again did their best in order to  try to defeat Charles Eliot.  The Eliot Team is huge, with tall and talented players. For Warriors fans, there was only hope.  We tried our best and we will improve.

Our JV and Varsity Boys Basketball Squads lost.

                       East Tech’s JV and Varsity Boys Basketball Teams dominated our Warriors Tuesday night.  If your were a Scarab you had fun seeing us try to keep up with the pace and intensity of both of those very good East Tech squads. Back to the drawing board for us.  We have Lutheran East tomorrow.

                       Something absolutely marvelous occurred in the Whitney M. Young Leadership Academy’s Gym on Friday after the Junior Varsity Basketball Team’s dismal loss.  Our Varsity boys looked fantastic.  The Varsity boys looked fast.          Our Junior Varsity Boys Basketball Team played hard but lost to a much larger Lakers’ Team. This game was difficult to watch if you are a Warrior.  Final Score:  Max Hayes 61and our good guys 26.  They will be much better next time.

Middle School Boys Basketball

               We suffered a loss today. Our  Warriors did their best.  The Miles Park team had a much deeper bench.  Solomon McCray came up injured and it was basically Game Over.  Good try Warriors.  Better luck next time. Our Middle School Boys Basketball Team

Our five academically eligible young players fell to Nathan Hale on the 22nd of November just before our Thanksgiving Break.  We will play Miles Park at home on the 1st of December at 3:30 p.m.  Hopefully we will have more players.

2016-17 Boys Basketball  Our season starts on the 15th of November with a bye.  Practice is everyday from 2:30 to 3:45 p.m. when we do not have a game.  We are having a very difficult time trying to find a minimum of five eligible young men.  To date we have only about four.  Please come forth
